Gura Portitei liegt auf einem schmalen Sandstreifen zwischen dem Donaudelta in Norden und der rumänischen Schwarzmeerküsten im Süden. Gura Portitei ist noch ein kleiner Geheimtipp für einen Urlaub am Schwarzen Meer. Der Ferienort ist nur per Boot zu erreichen.
